We originally contacted Checkatrade to get a reliable locksmith to upgrade our locks after a recent spate in burglaries in the area. and Jon was allocated the job and came round that same afternoon. He was bang on time, friendly and knowledgeable. He advised us the best locks to use and explained how much it would cost. We agreed which locks we wanted and he set to work fitting them. Unfortunately he didn’t have stock of enough to do all of them so explained he would order and return a few days later to finish. He returned when he said he would, bang on time again and finished installing the last lock.
A few days later I decided to contact Jon again due to a separate issue with the handle/hinges on our front door. Again he promptly came round when he said he would and had a look at the issue and advised how we could rectify it. Part ordered and installation a couple of days later. Everything working like a dream.
Jon is punctual, keeps in contact, friendly, clearly knows what he’s doing and did a fantastic job for us. We have already recommended him to other friends to pop him in their contacts list for future use. We wouldn’t hesitate to use him again, he’s a lovely chap.
